Run, Camsur, Run

The forthcoming CamSur Marathon is envisioned by Governor LRay Villafuerte, showing his Organ Donor Card (lower photo, left) to be as big as the legendary Boston Marathon (top photo) that will draw over 20,000 runners from all over the country and no less than 20 countries around the globe.  To be staged in 3Km, 5Km, 10Km, 21Km and 42Km runs plus a unique “Bayanihan Run” to raise funds for humanitarian causes like the Gawad Kalinga headed by founder Tony Meloto (lower photo, right), the Summit Water CamSur Marathon dubbed ”The Race to Rebuild the Nation” is but one of many sports spectacles conceived by Gov.
