Plea for Compassion

The Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Camarines Sur during its regular session last November 10 presided by veteran legislator CamSur Vice Gov. Salvio Fortuno suspended its rules to give way to a heart-to-heart dialogue with gas station operators to exchange views on the effects of the Executive Order fixing the prices of petroleum products in the market, amidst the nationwide concern for its after-effects. Members of the Legislative put their queries across the Session Hall and made an appeal to the guests for a fair and reasonable pricing of petroleum products while Adolfo Olivan of Olivan Seaoil Station (inset left) and Atty. Fabian Mendez Jr. of Caltex (inset right) welcomed the inquiries and vowed to listen to the clamor of the consumers. Doodge.Andujar-MMEC
