Final stop of WWA 2010 World Series

PILI, CamSur – Even as the new year has just unfolded, Governor LRay Villafuerte announced another international wakeboard competition is scheduled at the CamSur Watersports Complex with the staging of the World Wakeboard Association (WWA) Ultimate Wake Championship set January 19 to 23.
The competition is actually the last and final stop of the WWA Wake World Series carried over from WWA’s 2010 schedule played in six selected locations in six countries of four continents to determine who is the world’s best wakeboarder.
The 2010 WWA World Series traveled from the United Arab Emirates, Brazil, the United Kingdom, Canada, the United States and ultimately the Philippines, particularly in CamSur which selected as the last and final stop because of the CWC which is conceded the most progressive wakeboarding facility in the world.
CamSur and CWC are now known worldwide to host the best, most innovative and exciting world class evens as demonstrated by the staging of the last two consecutive yeats of hosting eh WWA World Wake Park Championships.
The Ultimate Wake Championship is the only event where riders will compete in four wakeboard disciplines including boat contest, cable contest and a System 2.0 competition to crown the most diverse wakeboarder in the sport.
UWC is expected to be the most exciting wake competition with the biggest prize purse of over US$200,000 and the most number of pro-riders from 29 countries all over the world.
More than just a wakeboarding event, the five-day event will include a diverse repertoire of entertainment to spice up the competitions.
Evening of first day January 19 feature the Casino Royale party including Belle Star entertainment, games, magic with fun black jack and poker tables. Second day January 20 will be Comic Strip Party, described to be a “strip down comedy lane with participants dressed-up in attire as cartoon and comic characters of their choice.
January 21 will feature the Black Light Party where the party-goers will glow in the dark in body paint of their own design accompanied by Drumbeat and percussions and January 22, the fourth night, will be Fire and Ice Party where revelers will experience two extreme atmospheres, heat up with poi dancers and sexy siren bands and freeze with pole dancer and a sexy all-girl band to enjoy the best of both extreme sides.
Final day January 23 will be the Awarding Party to honor, among other winners, the most diverse wakeboarder in the world. (GBClaveria/MMEC)
