Pre-schoolers show talents in Headstart skill Olympics
PILI, CamSur—The CamSur Headstart Pre-School Montessori of the provincial government successfully staged a colourful Provincial Skills Olympics last February 18 to 21 held at the Provincial Capitol Complex, Pili.
The affair drew out the best among the 3,181 young children from the various headstart schools now situated in 34 towns and 2 cities of CamSur who participated in the literary, singing, dancing, arts, cultural and sports competitions
The CamSur Headstart Pre-School Montessori which provides young children free quality education is continually supported by Governor LRay Villafuerte in his firm belief that education is essential to the prosperity and progress of the province.
Actually, the various headstart centers were grouped into 6 clusters. In the competitions, Cluster V composed of headstart schools from Pili, Ocampo, Baao and Iriga City compiled a commanding score of 1,363 points to capture the overall championship.
The second place honors went to Cluster III which amassed a total of 1,262 points. Cluster III is composed of headstart centers located in Calabanga, Bombon, Magarao, Canaman, Camaligan, Siruma and Tinambac.
In third place, was Cluster IV composed of headstart centers from Lagonoy, San Jose, Goa, Tigaon and Sagñay which collected a total of 1,240 points.
The Cluster VI which is composed of Bula, Bato, Nabua and Balatan scored a total of 1,208 points to grab the fourth place honors while Cluster I which includes Del Gallego, Ragay, Lupi, Sipocot, Libmanan and Cabusao took the fifth place position. stnmmec
