PILI, CamSur – Under his term, Camarines Sur has risen and became competitive with the other provinces of the country. We have proven it from 2004 to the present and we can surpass in the next three years what we have achieved in the past six years.

Thus, in a nutshell, Governor LRay Villafuerte vowed to over two thousand CamSur constituents composed of newly elected and reelected provincial and municipal officials, community leaders and supporters after taking his oath of office before RTC Branch 25 Presiding Judge Jaime F. Contreras for the third successive term as provincial executive Wednesday morning, June 30, at the Convention Center of the Provincial Capitol Complex in barangay Cadlan here.

Governor Villafuerte holds the distinction of being only the second governor of the province to be elected for the maximum three successive terms, a record previously solely achieved by his father now congressman of the new third district of Camarines Sur Luis R. Villafuerte, whom he succeeded.
